The short answer
Choose HDP or Sintra for AI-powered help with content drafts, brainstorming, organizing information and supported routine tasks. HDP can provide that kind of AI assistance, too—and go further: we can scope connected business workflows that carry work across applications, coordinate follow-ups and assignments, incorporate approvals, and produce reviewable execution records. Sintra emphasizes a ready-to-use self-service workspace; HDP can combine everyday AI assistance with customized business operations designed around the outcome you need. Specific integrations, deployment scope and performance are confirmed through assessment and testing.
Research note: This is a documentation-based comparison, not a hands-on Sintra test or a third-party product benchmark. Vendor features, prices and integrations can change. We have not established that all described HDP capabilities are available as a single self-service production product.
What does Sintra AI offer?
Sintra's current Sintra X offering describes twelve role-oriented AI employees, a shared knowledge component called Brain AI, integrations, and automations. Its official documentation explains that certain AI actions consume credits, which reset monthly, and that customers can purchase additional credit capacity. Check the live terms for your account and billing region rather than relying on old promotional prices.

Sintra AI vs a managed business operating workflow
| Decision factor | Sintra X | HDP scoped workflow approach |
|---|---|---|
| Best starting point | General AI assistance and supported built-in automations | A defined business outcome with named steps, systems and success criteria |
| Getting started | Subscribe and configure a workspace | Discovery, feasibility assessment, implementation and a bounded pilot |
| Common use cases | Content, research, messages and role-oriented assistance | Lead intake, routing, approvals, task execution, reconciliation or operational reporting |
| Integration | Vendor-supported integrations; validate each needed connection | Custom/API integrations where technically feasible and authorized; scope varies |
| Usage and pricing | Recurring subscription plus a documented credit allowance and optional top-ups | Project-specific quotation; setup, third-party software, metered AI and maintenance must be estimated |
| Proof work finished | Check actual automation history and outcomes for your use case | Can be designed with approval gates, task receipts and human review; verify in pilot |
| Maintenance | Managed product features within vendor scope | Explicitly assign integration monitoring, support and exception-handling responsibilities |
Four signs you may need more than an AI employee
- The output doesn't reach the next system. A draft or suggestion is useful, but a business also needs the correct CRM entry, ticket, assignment or approved follow-up.
- Exceptions keep returning to the owner. Ask what should happen when a customer changes their mind, a form is incomplete or an API fails.
- Costs are difficult to attribute. Compare subscription, credit usage, integrations, human review and the cost per successfully completed outcome.
- No one can confirm completion. Consider receipts, state transitions, source timestamps, approvals, and a visible record of failures.
Example: an inquiry that becomes completed follow-up
A small service company receives an after-hours inquiry. A complete workflow might capture permitted contact information, determine whether a human needs to respond, assign the request, create an approved draft, send through an authorized channel, and record the result. The objective isn't the number of AI messages—it is a verifiable next step with clear ownership.
HDP has developed operational components for tasks, business orders, voice workflows and integration. A customer-specific implementation would still require scope, permission, reliability testing and commercial agreement. See our task-versus-Business-OS guide and AI reception comparison.
Should you switch, supplement, or keep Sintra?
| Your situation | Reasonable next move |
|---|---|
| You're happy with content drafts and templates | Keep Sintra if its economics and results work for you. |
| One recurring step is still manual | Try a targeted integration or a narrow single-task service rather than replacing the stack. |
| Leads get lost across multiple applications | Map the full handoff and test a managed operating workflow. |
| You've outgrown the subscription's capacity | Compare true per-outcome cost across plan upgrades, alternatives and custom operation. |
Use this five-point buying checklist
- Write down the exact business result you want.
- Map the existing tools and permissions needed to complete it.
- Calculate all recurring, variable and staff-review costs.
- Run five representative cases, including at least one failure or exception.
- Record whether each case completed accurately, safely and with acceptable human effort.
If you're already using Sintra
There may be no need to start from zero. With your permission, we can assess a workflow map, approved business documents, exported information and your existing vendor configuration. First confirm which data can be exported or accessed legitimately; we won't request someone else's credentials or imply an unsupported integration.

Explore HDP's discovery paths, view the existing voice demo, or email an inquiry describing one business process you want to improve. We can help evaluate whether to keep an existing product, add one integration, or scope an HDP operating service.
